【案例分享】植牙失敗、破竇百出的迷途羔羊

Mr. Guo, a successful entrepreneur, who came with a failed implant site by two previous unsuccessful implants, was asking for new implant reconstruction 6 yrs ago.
The infected sinus with oral-antrum communication was suffering from chronic sinusitis for months without any help from numerous attempts to remedy by previous dentist.
I proceeded with periodontal therapy to optimize the periodontal health of existing dentition. The infected reconstruction site was managed with GBR repair in conjunctions with windows elevation. Two new implants were surgically placed after sinus return back to health and vertical height of the implant site accomplished.
Final restorations were installed and well maintained for 5 yrs without any signs of infection even with inadequate keratinized tissue.
